Our Objective

Summit Salon Academy – Weirton’s goal is to prepare highly trained, confident, and career-ready graduates for success in salons, spas, and beyond. Program Description

The 300-hour Barber Crossover training at Summit Salon Academy includes theory and practical instruction that prepares the student to perform all aspects of Barbering in conjunction with their active cosmetology license. The training includes 2 types of learning: theoretical knowledge and the practical experience to build the skills necessary to be successful in this profession.

*This course is only available to licensed Cosmetologists.

Summit Salon Academy – Weirton is proud to offer the Pivot Point FUSE learning platform as part of our innovative approach to cosmetology education. Pivot Point Fuse is a collaboration between Summit Salon Businness Center resources and Pivot Point Lab Platform which creates a customized learning experience for our students.

Fundamentals

The Fundamentals portion of the curriculum helps students master what they need to know without being overwhelmed by heavy text. Through lesson modules and interactive activities, students enjoy an engaging learning experience with streamlined content that makes studying and retaining knowledge easier.

LAB

The Learn About Beauty (LAB) platform connects students directly to the beauty industry through technology. Available 24/7, LAB offers a flexible and convenient way to learn, with interactive activities, fun challenges, and collaboration tools to connect with classmates and educators. With Pivot Point LAB, cosmetology education has truly evolved—making it more engaging, accessible, and effective than ever before.
